We pre-recorded today's episode of The Valley Business Today via Zoom with Cynthia Schneider, CEO of Top of Virginia Regional Chamber and her guest, Celeste Borel, owner of L'Auberge Provencale located in White Post, VA. During our conversation, Cynthia talked about the importance of being resilient in order for a business to be successful, especially in our current economic climate. As the chamber's 2019 Small Business of the Year recipient, Cynthia thought Celeste would be a great guest to talk about how her business had already made changes to their business model, then made a new pivot to adapt to the COVID-19 crisis. Celeste told us about all the changes she's made and why she thought they were important. She explained how being smaller equates to being safer for her patrons, plus we talked about her menu items available for takeout/curbside pickup (including burgers & bourbon) as well as her outdoor seating area. For more information about L'Auberge Provencale, visit their website: https://www.laubergeprovencale.com/ Also during our conversation, Celeste mentioned that Serve Safe certifications are free through the end of May. We also discussed the Community Leadership Program - you can find application information for that here: https://www.regionalchamber.biz/community-leadership-program
