Our conversation today with LaTasha Do'zia, Artistic Director and Founder of Selah Theatre Project gave us all the details for their upcoming holiday production of A SEUSSARIFFIC CHRISTMAS CAROL.

In partnership with Laurel Ridge Community College, Selah Theatre Project presents A SEUSSARIFFIC CHRISTMAS CAROL, an imaginative twist of Dickens' Christmas story classic in wacky rhymes. Will Tiny Tammy Hoo and all her Seussariffic friends be able to change the cold heart of ol' Ebenita Scrooge? This family fun tale brings holiday cheer to every heart young and wise.

She gave us some insight into how she came up with the concept and what it was like writing a play that combines Dr. Suess's style of rhyming and a traditional holiday favorite, A Christmas Carol. She told us how the two worlds meet and how long the cast has been working on the production.

A SEUSSARIFFIC CHRISTMAS CAROL is presented on December 9-11, 2022 and December 16-18, 2022. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7pm. Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2pm. You can get tickets on their website by clicking here.

LaTasha also told us about other upcoming productions, how to audition and about the wide range of actors they use every year in both age and experience level. Learn more about Selah Theatre Project on their website: and by following them on Facebook.
