Adult Education Programs at Laurel Ridge Community College

Our conversation today with Guy Curtis, Director of Marketing for Laurel Ridge Community College featured Sharon Hetland, Director of Adult Education for Northern Shenandoah Valley Adult Education which is based at the college.
Sharon explained the various programs they offer through the program for people at any stage of their life or level of education. They serve the region (City of Winchester and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren) with FREE classes that help students improve academic, English language (ESL), and workplace skills. Classes are held at local schools, churches, and libraries throughout the region.
We talked about the "Just One To Go" program for those who only have one more component to pass for their GED. She gave examples of the people they've helped and talked about all the different option to attend classes.
