Blue Ridge Hospice with Jeanne Mezzatesta

We were joined in the studio today by Jeanne Mezzatesta, Director of Development for Blue Ridge Hospice. We talked about hospice care, the services they provide along with the costs of doing such. Jeanne told us about their upcoming Butterfly 5K/10K race. In its 14th year, it's an event for all levels: walkers, runners, patient family members, nature enthusiasts. Walk or run the 5K course throughout the State Arboretum at Blandy Experimental Farm or run the 10K course from Blandy to Long Branch Plantation. Pay your entry fee or choose to recruit supporters and raise $100 for patient care (your entry fee is then waived). This year their goal is $45,000.
