We were joined in the studio by Elise Stine with United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley & her guests, Adriana Myers & Kasey Green from The Laurel Center. We talked about the upcoming Rubbermaid Sale that happens the last Saturday of every month in the Belk parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall to benefit the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley and/or it's partner agencies. We also talked with Adriana & Kasey about The Laurel Center, the services and programs it provides to domestic and sexual violence survivors in the City of Winchester, Frederick County and Clarke County and to sexual violence survivors in Warren County. We talked about signs of domestic abuse and specific steps someone should take to remove themselves from a dangerous situation.
