Our conversation today with Corey Childs, Extension Agent - Agriculture and Natural Resources Animal Science was all about preparation. He gave us some tips and suggestions for getting our homes, farms, lawns, gardens, crops, and equipment ready for winter.

Corey explained that many things can and should be done now to save some heartache when the temps begin to drop. He also told us that supply chain issues now will probably continue into the foreseeable future so ordering things like parts for equipment, fertilizer, seeds, etc. should be done now if possible to avoid a delay when you need them in the spring.
