Holly explained how axe throwing works, the safety precautions they take and the family-friendly environment they offer. We talked about their menu and got the details for their grand opening on September 24, 2022.

In the second segment, Niki gave us details for the Civic Pride Workshop happening on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 10am - 3pm at Royal Cinemas.

The Civic Pride Workshop will educate community members, business and property owners, government and elected officials, on the devastating effects of apathy and how it came to grip our cities and towns. Attendees will gain an understanding of how in cultivating pride, we can counteract the effects of apathy and restore people's relationship with their community.

The daylong event will be facilitated by Jeff Siegler, is a civic pride consultant, the founder of Revitalize or Die, and the founding partner of Proud Places. He has assisted hundreds of communities in the fight against apathy. As an outspoken advocate on the power of place, Jeff helps struggling communities become hometowns people can be proud of again. Jeff has dedicated himself to killing apathy - one town at a time.
