We pre-recorded today's episode of Tourism Tuesday - Winchester/Frederick County edition - via Zoom with Justin Kerns from Winchester/Frederick County Convention & Visitors Bureau and his guest, Jim Kopp, owner of Family Drive-In Theatre located between Stephens City & Middletown. Jim told us about all of the decisions he's made from closing shortly after his opening weekend, to the various Governor's orders, and how/when he decided to open. We talked about the environment that visitors will now encounter when coming to see a movie such as: online tickets sales only, food app ordering, and 50% capacity. We also talked about the national and international news coverage the theatre has received in recent weeks from national news outlets such as NBC, CNBC, CNN as well as news outlets from Germany & even Russia.
