We were in the studio for Tourism Tuesday - Winchester/Frederick County edition - with Justin Kerns, Executive Director for Winchester/Frederick County Convention & Visitor's Bureau to talk about all the events happening in and around the area over the Labor Day weekend and beyond. We also talked about the Annual Harley Owner's Group Rally that will be coming to Winchester in June 2019 and the impact it will have on the local economy. A few of the events happening over the Labor Day weekend that Justin gave us details about include: Patsy Cline Block Party, History at Sunset at Belle Grove, Dusk to Dawn Movie Marathon at Family Drive-In, Labor Day Celebration at James Charles Winery, and the all new Kidz Fest at Winchester Sportsplex. Justin also told us about a few events happening in early September as well: Harvest Tea at Godfrey Miller Home, Skyline Indie Film Festival, Winchester Little Theatre's new show, Bright Box Divas Drag Show, 3rd Annual Middletown Farm to Table Dinner and the Maxwell Parrish exhibit opening in early September at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.
