We were in the studio for Tourism Tuesday with Kary Haun from Shenandoah County Tourism. She gave us all the details about Gardens, Galleries and Grapes: A Shenandoah County Artisan Trail event happening this weekend, April 22 & 23rd from 10am - 5pm. Some examples of what you’ll find during the weekend of Gardens Galleries & Grapes are:

  • Artisan Studios open for tours
  • Shops and galleries open with artists giving live demonstrations.
  • Wineries, Restaurants, and Breweries will showcase food specials and live music on site.
  • Farms and Garden Centers will have fresh spring plants plus gardening and beekeeping demonstrations.

The Artisan Trail encourages its visitors to drive the scenic back roads and visit Trail Sites owned by locals and not always visible from the main highways. Now in its fifth year, Gardens Galleries and Grapes is a weekend to celebrate the beginning of warm weather, the beauty and abundance of our agricultural landscape, and the artists, craftsmen, farmers and chefs who make it beautiful and flavorful.
