Traffic Safety Thursday: Be Safer on the Roads

We recorded today's conversation at Frederick County's Public Safety Building with Frederick County Sheriff Lenny Millholland and Lt. Warren Gosnell. This is part of our monthly traffic safety show where we chat about new laws, safety precautions and learn about things we can do to be safer on the roads.
Our conversation today included discussion about Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the importance of not being distracted behind the wheel all year long, not just the month of April.
We talked about the Click It or Ticket campaign and Lt. Gosnell explained what it is and why it's important. We also talked about the change in weather and the increase in motorcycles and bicycles in the roadway. The pair warned about being aware of them when traveling and reminded homeowners about mowing grass into our streets and the danger it creates.
