We were NOT live in the studio for our "Traffic Safety Thursday" conversation. Instead, we recorded in advance at the Frederick County Public Safety Building with Frederick County Sheriff Lenny Millholland and Lt. Warren Gosnell.

We talked about reactionary gaps: why you should keep one and how to determine how far is far enough. Lt. Gosnell explained their particular importance when approaching construction zones when lanes may be closing as well as following bad weather events when snow might be piled up along roadways.

We also discussed illegal parking in handicapped spaces (including the lines that separate them) as well as parking in fire lanes. Finally, we discussed (again) why it's illegal to have a cell phone or any other electronic device in your hand while actively operating a motor vehicle.
