We were in the studio for our monthly conversation about traffic safety with Lt. Warren Gosnell from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. We talked about distracted driving issues such as eating, listening to loud music, loose pets in your vehicle and of course, use of cell phones. Lt. Gosnell explained the current status of the hands-free law and his expectations for it's passing in 2020. We also discussed pedestrian safety and the need for those who walk, jog or ride bikes near public roadways to be aware of their surroundings as well.
