We were in the studio for our monthly conversation with Elise from United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley. She gave us the details for the Rubbermaid Sale happening on Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the Belk parking lot at the Apple Blossom Mall from 8am til noon; plus, she told us about all the different ways you can support UWNSV throughout the year as well as now, when the year is coming to an end. Elise's guest today was Lois Shaffer from member agency, Page One of Page County. Page One's mission is to provide family assistance to those in our community who find themselves unemployed, sick or for some unforeseen situation, unable to feed their family or meet their financial needs. Lois told us about their programs, their need for various donations and about the impact their services have had on those in the Page County community.
