United Way NSV COVID-19 Relief Fund Update

We recorded today's conversation with Elise from United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley to get a COVID-19 Relief Fund update and talk about their current fund distribution process from their recent campaign. Elise gave us a quick rundown of all the organizations that have received immediate funds from their COVID-19 Relief Fund and the impact it is having on our community. We talked about the initial matching funds and the recent additional $50,000 in matching funds that became available. There were over 36 different organizations and non-profits who submitted requests in excess of $780,000 for the $450,000 in available funding.
