We were in the studio for United Way Day with Elise from United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley and her guest, Mia Dezura, Asso. Dean of Students for Lord Fairfax Community College. We talked about the college's food pantry & mental health counseling program offered to students through grants from United Way NSV. Mia told us about the impact of the food pantry on her students; and, we talked about the role mental health plays in the success of students. She also gave us the details for the Rubbermaid Sale happening on Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the Belk parking lot of Apple Blossom Mall in Winchester from 8am - 12pm.
