Valley Health FREE Workshop: Injury Prevention for the Student Athlete

We were in the studio with Stephanie Austin, a physical therapist at Page Memorial Hospital and Mary Presley, Director Of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Warren Memorial Hospital to chat about their FREE Injury Prevention Workshop for the Student Athlete happening on Saturday, November 4 at 9am at Strasburg High School. We talked about why this is an important workshop for student athletes, parents, and coaches to attend. Stephanie is the workshop’s featured speaker and will talk about lower extremity injuries and prevention strategies to reduce the risk of injury. After her presentation, Valley Health PTs, athletic trainers and fitness instructors will staff a clinic with interactive stations to help students put what they learned into practice.
