We were joined in the studio today by Nadine Pottinga, President/CEO and Elise Stine-Dolinar, manager of Marketing & Development for the United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley. They brought with them Julia Fielding, Program Director for Habitat for Humanity of Winchester-Frederick County. We talked about the upcoming Day of Caring and the need for sponsors and volunteers; and the Rubbermaid sale on Saturday, June 24 from 8am - Noon in the Belk parking lot at Apple Blossom Mall where 100% of the proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity. We also discussed Habitat's need for families and the process to qualify for their loan program.
