We pre-recorded today's conversation for The Valley Business Today in partnership with the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber's President, Cynthia Schneider and her guest, Winchester's new City Manager, Dan Hoffman.
Dan told us about his experiences in the Shenandoah Valley and how his family feels about relocating to the area. We talked about the other localities he's managed and how they differ from the City of Winchester in many good ways.
We discussed his staff and the importance he places on leaving them to do their jobs while he stays involved. He told us that he values the tourism dollars and uniqueness that Old Town Winchester brings and hopes to strengthen and grow the "exporting of experiences" from people who visit the area.
