We were in the studio with Elise from United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley and her guest, Marion Schottelkorb, Executive Director for WATTS - Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter. Marion told us about her organization, the services it provides at no cost to the homeless men & women in our community and how so many other businesses, organizations & volunteers come together each winter to allow them to offer a safe, warm place for our community's homeless population to sleep. Elise gave us an update on the United Way's campaign that's now in full swing and told us about their latest initiative: One Black Dress. You can get more details about that here: http://theriver953.com/news/united-way-launches-one-black-dress-initiative/
