Our conversation today with Niki Foster from Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce gave us all the details for the 35th Annual Virginia Wine & Craft Festival happening on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11am - 6pm in downtown Front Royal.

Featuring wine, mead, and cider from all over Virginia, the Virginia Wine & Craft Festival will host:  Bright Meadows Farm, Caihailian Vineyard, Castle Glen Winery, Chateau O"Brien, Cobbler Mountain Cellars, Creek's Edge Winery, Honey & Hops Brew Works, Mattaponi Winery, Narmada Winery, Rebec Vineyards, Saga Meadery, The Estate at White Hall Vineyards, Wisteria Farm & Vineyard, and Zoll Vineyard.

Artists and crafters from all over the east coast along with local merchants will fill Main and Chester Streets in downtown Front Royal showcasing handcrafted jewelry, painted wine glasses, charcuterie boards, pottery and ceramics, clothing, original paintings, books and artwork, soaps, candles, and much more.

Food trucks and food vendors will offer quite a variety of culinary options such as funnel cakes, crab cake sandwiches, wings, steak-n-cheese, shish kabobs, BBQ, and burgers and dogs. Festival goers are encouraged to visit the many unique shops and restaurants along Main Street during the event as well.

Live music will fill the air all day when Kiti Gartner and The Drifting Valentines will bring their cool rockabilly style to the Gazebo stage from 11:30am - 2pm. Back To Zero is back this year and will bring the party to the crowd from 3pm - 5:30pm. You can also find an array of musicians during the day at the Warren Heritage Society Songwriters Stage on Chester Street.

Festival admission is $30 in advance or $35 at the gate for those who wish to wine taste or purchase glasses or bottles of wine. There is no general admission fee. Advance tickets can be purchased at www.wineandcraftfestival.com or in person at the Chamber of Commerce office located at 201 E. 2nd Street, Front Royal, VA.
