As part of our new series, Educating the Valley, we were in the studio today with Randolph-Macon Academy President, Brigadier General David Wesley. We talked about their ROTC program, the Hadeed Innovation Lab, athletics and even their award winning marching band. Our conversation included discussion about their financial stability through tuition, fundraising and endowments for educational programs at R-MA, the international experience of learning for local students, and the high rate of college acceptance and scholarship dollars awarded to R-MA students. For more information about any of their programs, or to schedule a private tour or attend an open house, visit their website: https://www.rma.edu/ While today’s conversation was on-air, it’s part of a larger, ongoing podcast series as well. You can join me for conversations with school superintendents from the surrounding six counties, with local teachers about their programs, with students about their projects, with athletes about their competitions from private schools, public schools and colleges.
