We were in the studio today with Warren County Administrator, Doug Stanley and his guest Warren County Social Services Director, DeAnna Cheatham. We talked about the current "Coats for Kids" drive that Front Royal Rotary is sponsoring to put new coats on kids in need right here in Warren County. A donation of $20 will buy a new coat for a child - their goal is 150 coats. You can make a donation at any of the following locations:

Doug also gave us an update on the completed construction of the South Fork bridge, a timeline for completion of the Morgan's Ford bridge, along with updates on Michael's moving into the Staples building and Ressie Jeffries Elementary School's final construction details. We also talked about holiday hours for the town, including the compactor hours on Christmas day, Rivermont Fire Station's new building process, construction and road work for the Royal Farms project and prospects for the former Simonpietri's property.
