Our conversation today with Katie Mercer, Director of Marketing & Events for the Town of Woodstock gave us all the details for Shenandoah Valley Artfest happening on Saturday, June 25 from 2pm - 10pm. This is the third year for the event and it's shaping up to be the largest and most successful yet. Shenandoah Valley ArtFest will feature over 30 artists representing a variety of mediums from paintings and fiber arts, to woodworking, and more. Several artists will also be hosting demonstrations of their craft.

The event will have a few food trucks, but it's encouraged to try out the local restaurants. Be sure to swing by the wine & beer garden that's hosted by the local Rotary club.

The Rogue Farmers will perform from 3:30pm - 6pm with The Jangling Reinharts wrapping up the day from 6pm - 10pm. There will be family friendly games like life-size Jenga & Connect Four as well as Yard Pong.

The community is also invited to participate in a public art project. In partnership with Valley Educational Center for Creative Arts (VECCA), the Woodstock Enhancement Committee is building phase 2 of a glass mural mosiac. The first section is already on display in the alley next to Woodstock Cafe. You can stop by their tent at Court Square and pop in a few pieces.
