Strolling Strasburg: Alforno's Italian Cuisine

Olivia Hilton, Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Town of Strasburg & I strolled to Alforno's Italian Cuisine for a conversation with the new owner, Brandon. He told us how he came to be the owner of Alforno's and gave us a quick rundown of items on his menu. We talked about dough-making, marinara simmering, and the high priority he places on the customer experience. For the second half of the conversation, Olivia & I strolled to our normal spot at Nancy's Coffee Bar so that she could give me details for several events coming up in the next few weeks.

Scoops & Hoops - an event hosted by Strasburg Police Department will happen on Saturday, August 14, 2022 in the parking lot at Strasburg Assembly of God from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
On Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10am - 2pm, the Town of Strasburg, in partnership with the Lord Fairfax Soil & Water Conservation District, the Strasburg Community Garden and the Strasburg Farmers Market will be hosting the 5th Annual Harvest Festival to celebrate the garden harvest! The event will include local artisans, edible goodies and produce at the Strasburg Farmer's Market, which will be at the TOWN PARK for the day!
