We were live in the studio today for a conversation with Bryan Williams, owner of Liberty Tax, Front Royal and his marketing director, Janice Hart to get a few tax time tips. We talked about the current tax season and the impact changes made last year to the tax laws will have on this year's returns and refunds. Bryan explained the standard deduction vs itemized deductions and the different rules for your state filing vs federal filing. We talked about the PATH Act - The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015 - that contains several changes to the tax law that affect individuals, families, businesses and help safeguard against tax fraud.
