We were in the studio today with Lt. Warren Gosnell from Frederick County Sheriff's Office to talk traffic safety. This is a monthly conversation with Lt. Gosnell on a wide range of topics. Today's included: the failure of the hands-free law recently before Virginia lawmakers, the dangers of using your device while driving; myths about about law enforcement and how traffic fines are disbursed, and safe driving in wintry conditions. Lt. Gosnell also told us about the Community Connections program for area senior citizens offered by the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. They meet at 1pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Frederick County Public Safety Building. Contact Patti Williams for more details at: 540-504-6579.
