We were in the studio today with Warren County Fire Marshal, Gerry Maiatico to talk about Fire Prevention Week happening October 6 - 12, 2019. We discussed all the educational initiatives Warren County Fire & Rescue performs throughout the year and how the month of October is a time to bring all those outreach efforts full circle. Our conversation also included smoke detector safety, the importance of testing and swapping new batteries as well as creating an escape plan and practicing it under various circumstances.
