We pre-recorded today's conversation via Zoom for Tourism Tuesday - Winchester/Frederick County edition - to chat with John David Smith about Winchester's Restaurant Week happening February 22 - 27, 2021.

The event is organized each year by Winchester Main Street Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses on bringing in quality events, beautification projects and youth education programs to build Winchester’s unique brand in an attempt to improve quality of life, support and work with other nonprofit organizations and build a Main Street community.

John David Smith is the owner of Village Square Restaurant & V2 Oyster Bar & Lounge, the co-owner of Water Street Kitchen, AND the Mayor of Winchester. He's also a founding member of the foundation and helps organize Winchester Restaurant Week. He explained how the week started as a once a year event, but has grown to twice a year. He told us which restaurants are participating & what specials you can expect to find on many of the menus.
